Understanding the Learner

Educators will gain an understanding of the characteristics of the spectrum of Multi-lingual learners. They will be able to use that understanding as a lens to reflect on instructional practices and create pathways to participation for all Multi-lingual learners in the classroom.

The session can focus on a broad understanding of MLLs, focus, in a more targeted way, on the needs of SIFE, or take a more pointed look at SIFE with Developing Literacy
